For children aged 7-18 years (School Years 3-13)
We provide tuition for solo, duo and group drama exams. Students working on duo or group exams will only work with others of the same age.

Mon 15 - Fri 19 July & Mon 22 - Fri 26 July 2019

Course Information

Our two-week drama exam course offers a great opportunity for children aged 7-18 to participate in an exciting and creative drama exam programme, which includes the development and enhancement of voice work, performance skills and dramatic technique. Drama exams provide recognised and accredited qualifications in drama, which can be listed on all application forms.

Exams comprise extracts from published plays and, depending on the grade, can also include poems, mime, prose, devised work and movement. Solo and duo exams include a conversation with the examiner, for which our students will be very well-prepared.

Sessions will begin each day with creative exercises to prepare our students for the technique required for drama exams. Trinity College sets an age limit on drama exams, and we will advise upon booking the correct exam level for all ages, as well as ensuring that students of the same age work together.

Duo and solo exam results for Grades 6, 7 & 8 can be exchanged for UCAS points and listed on all university application forms.

All students will receive an exam certificate from Trinity College which lists their name, the grade taken and the exam result awarded.

Parents are invited to watch a rehearsal on Wednesday 24 July.

A Trinity College examiner will come to the school on Friday 26 July for the exams.
