During Term-Time our Saturday Morning
Speech & Drama Classes take place
at South Hampstead Junior School, Netherhall Gardens, London, NW3.
Specialised hour-long, fun-packed classes combine essential drama skills
training with devising and improvising plays for Dramatots (3-4 year olds), Stage 1 (4-5 year olds),
Stage 2 (6-7 year olds) and Stage 3 (8-11 year olds).
Trinity Guildhall Drama Examinations
From January 2008 children in Stage 2 and 3 will
be able to attend weekly Drama Exam Classes. They will be able to enter
Trinity Guildhall, Performance Arts Examinations, under the Duo and
Group sections. Extracts from published plays will be directed by Dramarama
teachers and the children must learn lines by heart. There are also
opportunities for mime, movement, singing and music to be incorporated into
the exam piece.
Drama Examinations are recognised as official
qualifications in Drama and can be listed on all application forms. Grades 6
to 8 can also be converted into UCAS points when applying for university
places.
