Weekly After

are held in
schools in North London,
North-West London and Herts.
Drama
Clubs are held as follows:
|
5-7
YEAR OLDS (RECEPTION YEAR 1, YEAR 2) |
| One-hour
classes designed to introduce young children to the performing arts.
Drama Games and special creative activities offer a challenging and
rewarding session. Plays, based on stories, films and books, will be
devised each week. In addition, character-work will be explored,
together with a wide range of acting styles and themes. |
 |
|
8-14
YEAR OLDS (YEARS 3 TO 9) |
| Specialised
classes offer tuition for Trinity Guildhall Speech & Drama Examinations.
Students are prepared for entry to Group Exams which involves devising a
presentation based on a theme using extracts from plays, poems, and
books. Devised movement-work and improvisation pieces are also
included, ensuring a thorough theatrical training. Exam work is started
in October, and an Examiner from Trinity Guildhall will visit the school for
examinations in March. Parents are invited to watch the final dress
rehearsals in the session before the exam takes place. Successful
students will receive individual certificates. Trinity Guildhall. exams are
recognised qualifications in drama and can be listed on all application
forms. |
