Dramarama is an independent, family-run drama school offering courses in Drama and Musical Theatre, which run regularly during school holidays, mostly based at South Hampstead High School, London NW3.
Established in 1987, Dramarama has encouraged literally thousands of children over the last 30 years, all of whom have discovered the magical world of acting, singing and dancing under the watchful guidance of Jessica Grant.
Dramarama’s ethos has always been to encourage children of all abilities to experience a journey of discovery through specially devised games and improvisations, while at the same time learning to develop the confidence to perform or to speak in front of an audience, with a mature self assurance.
Older students are introduced to the genius of Shakespeare, Chekov and Ibsen, and study the poetry of Wordsworth, Auden and Yeats. Dramarama runs Drama Exam Courses in the summer holidays, offering a nationally recognised drama qualification.
Jessica and Danny Grant run both Dramarama and Danny Grant Soccer School in tandem, together with a dedicated team of drama teachers and football coaches.
