Dramarama boasts a dedicated team of experienced, professional teachers who specialise in teaching drama workshops, drama exams, musical theatre, street dance, jazz and singing to our young students aged from 3.5 to 14.

We are always happy to meet new teachers to see if they can join our staff team. All new teachers should email their full CV, with details of drama training and/or qualifications, previous teaching experience, two references and an enhanced DBS with a recent issue date. Safeguarding/child protection and first aid certificates are also required and we can help with arranging training.

We also have a number of young assistants that work closely with our teachers. Their role is to take care of the children while the teacher is leading the session, explaining the rules of a game, teaching choreography or singing, directing scenes or devising material.

Most of our assistants are our students who are aged 14 and above. Having attended Dramarama themselves they really enjoy returning as an assistant to help the children as they have a special insight into their needs and requirements. As a family run drama school it is very special to watch our students develop and mature into excellent assistants. Many have gone on to study drama, directing or related subjects at university and it is so pleasing that they return to work with us in their holidays.
