🎬 What to Expect: Workshop & Show Camps, Tailored by Age

At Dramarama, we believe in creating experiences that suit each child’s age and developmental stage. Here’s how we do it:

  • Stage One (Pre-Reception & Reception, age 4–5 years)

A Drama Workshop Camp, full of imaginative play, storytelling, drama games, movement and expression. No pressure — just fun, exploration, and boosting confidence. Available at South Hampstead Junior School and Ivy House School

  • Stages Two & Three (Years 1–6, ages ~6–11 years)

Our Drama Show Camps engage children in rehearsing scenes, songs, and dances, culminating in a performance for parents and carers. They’ll be part of a cast, tackling scripts, choreography, and creative teamwork.

Our Show Camps are available at South Hampstead Junior School

In all our camps, we blend drama, singing, movement, games, and creative exercises in every session. Our experienced teachers adapt activities to each group dynamically, ensuring that each child is challenged but supported.

💡 Why Choose Dramarama?

  • Creative Confidence

Through play, improvisation, and performance, children gain poise and expressiveness they can carry into everyday life.

  • A Caring, Expert Team

Our teachers are invested in each child’s growth. We nurture creativity in a safe, inclusive environment. Each group has a specially assigned assistant to help and support all the children in their group throughout the camp.

  • All-inclusive Experience

From games to dances, scripts to stories, we handle everything behind-the-scenes so children can simply join us and shine.

  • Performance to Show Off Their Work

For the older groups, there’s a special performance (usually Thursday or Friday afternoon) so families can celebrate their children’s achievements.

🧺 What to Bring & Practicalities:

To make your child’s day smooth and fun, here’s what they should bring:

  • A named, nut-free packed lunch (we can’t heat food)

  • A named, refillable water bottle

  • Comfortable clothing (and shoes) suitable for movement

  • A pencil (for marking scripts, for children attending Show Camps)

  • Optional: dressing up items or props (no toy swords, guns or scary masks, please!)

Drop-off / Pick-up

We’ll email you the drop-off and collection points before camp starts. Please arrive on time. If you need early pick-up, please email us in advance.

Separation Anxiety

If your child is nervous on the first day, we have gentle strategies to help them settle in. Let us know in advance so we can support them.
