🌞 Dramarama Summer Camps are now in full swing !

Hello again! It’s Jessica here from Dramarama. I just had to share how thrilled I am that our first summer camps at South Hampstead Junior School, NW3 and Ivy House School, NW11 are up and running! The energy, the laughter, and the creativity has all been there from the very first day.

🎭 Drama Fun All Around

It’s lovely to have such great children attending both our camps this week! Every single one is getting stuck in with so much enthusiasm.

Across our camps, we’ve been enjoying:

• Lively drama games

• Voice work to build confidence and clarity

• Acting exercises and technique work

• Creative storytelling

• Singing and songs

• Dancing and movement

  
  

It’s been a real joy to watch the children grow more expressive and confident with every session.

🎬 Rehearsing for the End of Week Show

Our older group has been hard at work rehearsing for their special end-of-week performance.

They have been:

• Learning lines

• Exploring stage movement and mime

• Working together on scenes with real focus and creativity

  
  

It’s so satisfying to watch young performers bring a story to life! We’re looking forward to the parents coming to see the end of week Show this afternoon.

🎶 A Full Performing Arts Experience

Of course, it wouldn’t be Dramarama without singing and dancing too! The Dramarama team at Ivy House School has created an exciting mix of drama, music, and movement that gives every child a full performing arts experience — and lots of fun along the way.

🌟 More Than Just Drama

What makes me most proud is seeing how the children are building skills they’ll use every day, not just on stage. This includes:

• Speaking up with confidence

• Working as a team

• Using their imaginations

• Trying new things in a safe, supportive space

• 
  

This is exactly what Dramarama is all about.

Thank you to all the wonderful children who’ve joined us so far. If you’re thinking about enrolling your child in a future camp, we’d love to welcome them into the Dramarama fun! We have camps 21-25 July, 28 July-1 August and 26-29 August.
